Alpha Phi Omega · Delta Chapter
A campus packed with scouts, a day of merit badges taught by Auburn professors and brothers of Alpha Phi Omega, and a tradition over 30 years strong on The Plains.
What it is
Scouts BSA troops travel to Auburn for a Saturday packed with merit-badge classes taught by Auburn professors and Alpha Phi Omega brothers. Tradition meets the modern campus.
Earn merit badges in a college academic environment with access to resources you wouldn't normally see at the troop level — labs, studios, professors who do this for a living.
Bring your unit to a college town for the day or the weekend. Camping options nearby, a single online payment per troop, and Auburn hospitality at every stop.
Run by Auburn's Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega — founded in 1927, built on Leadership, Friendship, and Service. War Eagle, hey.

Prereqs: Requirements 3F and 4B will need to be completed beforehand at home

Day-of
A rough shape of the day. Exact times and rooms are published a week before the event.
Troops sign in, grab their packets and shirts (if pre-ordered), and head to the opening assembly.
Scouts disperse to their first merit-badge class. Most classes meet morning and afternoon, with lunch in between; some double up.
Lunch is included with registration. Find your troop, find some shade, and grab a slice of campus life.
Back to class. Some scouts finish their badge today; others walk out with a partial card and a list of follow-up work.
Closing remarks, blue card collection, and the long ride back to the troop's home turf with new merit badges to sew on.
